Sören Schwechel, LL.M.

Sören has been working in tax consultancy for 10 years and has extensive experience in both traditional consulting and corporate environments. After nearly four years at Flick Gocke Schaumburg, he has been self-employed for several years. Since 2024, he has also been a member of the M&A Tax Team at SAP.

Thanks to his diverse background, Sören speaks different „tax languages“ and understands the specific requirements of corporations, family businesses, and individuals. His main areas of expertise are corporate tax, M&A tax law, and inheritance tax law. He has extensive experience advising within a cross-border context.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen and a Master’s degree from WU Vienna. He has shared his expertise through publications in renowned specialist journals (e.g., DStR and Ubg) and as a lecturer for the International Tax Law module at DHBW Villingen-Schwenningen.
